The Grip Bar and the Finish
What separates this shell from the plain 20 inch case.
A bar, not a strap
The carry handle is a wide bar rather than a narrow strap or a recessed pull. It spreads the load across the whole hand, which is what a traveller notices when the case is lifted into an overhead locker or onto a check-in scale rather than wheeled.
Matte anodised, not polished
The standard finish is matte anodised. Anodising builds the colour into the surface layer instead of laying a coat on top, so the panel face and its edges carry the same tone and a scuff does not expose a different colour underneath. A matte face also holds fingerprints less than a gloss one.

That is the standard wholesale build. Stock colours are listed in the table above, and anything outside that list is matched to your specification on the same tooling, with no mould charge.
What we can change
This shell already has tooling, so a branded run starts without a mould charge. Everything below is specified per order.
Logo and artwork
Laser engraving, UV printing, silk screen or embossing. The method is chosen to suit the surface finish, and there is no tooling charge to brand an existing shell.
Surface finish
Brushing, sandblasting, anodizing, electrophoresis, spray coating, PVD and etching. A scratch- and fingerprint-resistant coat can be added on top.
Colour
Matched to your specification rather than limited to the stock list. Stock colours for this model are shown in the table above.
Lining and interior
EVA, nylon or PU lining, with compression straps, divider, zip pocket or a fitted insert built to your drawing.
Hardware
Lock, wheels, corner guards and trolley handle can all be changed. Casters are available detachable on request.
Packaging and size
Gift box, printed carton and carton marking to your artwork. Sizes outside the standard range are quoted against new tooling.

Anodized Finish
Shells are degreased, etched and anodised, so the colour sits inside the oxide layer instead of on top of it. That is what keeps a matte case from showing scuffs the way a sprayed one does. Brushing, sandblasting, electrophoresis, spray coating, PVD and etching are all available on the same shell.

Why a wide handle instead of a standard one?
It spreads the lifting load across the hand rather than concentrating it on the fingers. On a metal case, which weighs more than a moulded plastic one of the same size, that is the difference a traveller feels at the moment of lifting.
What does matte anodising change in practice?
The colour sits in the surface layer rather than on top of it, so a scuff does not reveal a different colour underneath. The matte face also hides fingerprints and light handling marks better than a gloss finish.
What does it hold, and what does it weigh?
28 litres at 20 inch in the standard build. The weight figure is issued with the quotation rather than published here, because it moves with the lining and hardware you specify.
Can the handle be changed?
Yes. The handle, lock, wheels and corner hardware are specified per order rather than fixed on this model.
What is the minimum order?
300 pieces per model for a full program on this shell. 50 pieces if the only change is your logo on the existing finish. 1,000 pieces if the shell itself needs new tooling.
