Zinc alloy corner guards
Shield-shaped guards in zinc alloy are fitted at each corner. Corners take the worst of a drop and of belt handling, and fitting a separate guard means that impact lands on a mounted part rather than directly on the shell panel.
A one piece body underneath
The body is moulded as one piece, so the guards are fixed to a continuous shell rather than bridging a joint between panels. The T-shaped handle is scaled to the body rather than carried over unchanged from a smaller case.
Hardware left open
Locks, wheels and the handle are sourced against your specification rather than fixed on this model. Buyers who have a hardware supplier they already work with usually start here rather than on a closed build.
What we can change
This shell already has tooling, so a branded run starts without a mould charge. Everything below is specified per order.
Logo and artwork
Laser engraving, UV printing, silk screen or embossing. The method is chosen to suit the surface finish, and there is no tooling charge to brand an existing shell.
Surface finish
Brushing, sandblasting, anodizing, electrophoresis, spray coating, PVD and etching. A scratch- and fingerprint-resistant coat can be added on top.
Colour
Matched to your specification rather than limited to the stock list. Stock colours for this model are shown in the table above.
Lining and interior
EVA, nylon or PU lining, with compression straps, divider, zip pocket or a fitted insert built to your drawing.
Hardware
Lock, wheels, corner guards and trolley handle can all be changed. Casters are available detachable on request.
Packaging and size
Gift box, printed carton and carton marking to your artwork. Sizes outside the standard range are quoted against new tooling.

Zinc-Alloy Corner Guards
Corner guards are cast in zinc alloy and fitted over the frame joint, where a dropped case takes the load first. Casters on this model are detachable, so a damaged wheel is replaced in the field instead of writing off the case.

Why guard the corners rather than thicken the shell?
A thicker shell adds weight across the whole case to protect the part that actually takes the impact. A fitted guard puts the material where the damage happens and leaves the rest of the panel at its normal thickness.
What are the guards made of?
Zinc alloy, shield-shaped, mounted at each corner. The finish on them is specified with the shell finish so the two read as one piece rather than an afterthought.
What does it hold and weigh?
36 litres and 4.05 kg at 20 inch in the standard wholesale build, at 362 by 203 by 489 mm. Changing the lining or hardware moves the weight.
Can we use our own lock and wheel supplier?
Yes. This model is built with the hardware left open, so locks, wheels and the handle are sourced to your specification. Component approval happens at the sample stage.
What is the minimum order?
300 pieces per model for a full program on this shell. 50 pieces if the only change is your logo. 1,000 pieces if the shell itself needs new tooling.
